Police have released an update on the condition of a child after they were injured in a crash in Rainham.
The incident happened in Upminster Road North near the junction with New Road at 12.25pm yesterday (October 27).
Police and London Ambulance Service attended and a child, who was a passenger in a car, was found injured.
The child was taken to hospital where their condition was initially unknown.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police confirmed today (October 28) their injuries were assessed as non-life threatening.
A road closure was in place at the scene of the crash whilst enquiries into the circumstances continue.
