A teenage girl has been taken to hospital in an unknown condition after being struck by a police car in Bow.
The incident occurred in Bow Road at around 12.55pm yesterday (September 16).
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed the vehicle "was on the way to an incident" at the time of the crash.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were called to the scene where a 16-year-old girl was assessed and taken to a major trauma centre.
The officers travelling in the marked police car were uninjured.

Bow Road remains closed while an investigation is carried out.
The Metropolitan Police has confirmed this morning (September 17) her condition is unknown as they await an update.
The Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed.
