A woman has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing at flats in Stepney Green.
Hope Rowe, 32, of Piazza Walk, Whitechapel, has been accused of murder and possession of a bladed article.
It comes in connection with an incident which saw officers from the Metropolitan Police called at around 1.17am on September 15 with reports of a woman suffering from stab injuries.
They were dispatched to the scene in the foyer of a block of flats in Duckett Street, E1 with members of the London Ambulance Service.

A woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Met Police have named the dead woman as 31-year-old Charlotte Lawlor, though formal identification has yet to take place.
Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
A 37-year-old man previously arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has been released on bail.

A crime scene remains in place at the address and enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
Det Supt Mike Cagney previously said: “My thoughts are with the family of this young woman at this very difficult time.
“Over the coming days local officers will be in and around Duckett Street to provide any reassurance that the community needs but also as an opportunity for anyone with concerns, or any information about this incident, to speak with us.”
Rowe is due to appear at Thames Magistrates' Court today (September 16).
