A man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon after a video which appeared to show a cyclist wielding a knife near a park.
Police responded to calls after a man was spotted around Middleton Green Park, Bethnal Green, at about 7pm on Sunday (July 21).
Officers went to the scene to find the man had gone, but later arrested a 25-year-old on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
The man, 25, was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and remains in custody.

A video shared to X, formerly Twitter, appeared to show a man wielding a large knife outside Middleton Green Park.
The footage featured a man wearing a Deliveroo jacket riding near the junction of Old Bethnal Green Road and Canrobert Street.
When approached for comment, a Deliveroo spokesperson said the individual in the video was not riding for the food delivery company.
