A drug dealer who had been posing as a successful businessman has been jailed after police seized more than £20,000 in crack cocaine and heroin from his home.
Mohammed Litton Miah, 33, of Bethnal Green, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs at Snaresbrook Crown Court on March 5 this year.
He was sentenced at the same court on April 9 to eight years and three months imprisonment.
Police found Miah's drugs line was responsible for supplying large amounts of drugs across east London.
Det Insp Sam Bennett, whose team led the investigation, said: "Drugs are inextricably linked to violence and exploitation, causing misery in communities.
"We will continue to work with our communities and partners to disrupt the supply of drugs on our streets."

An investigation into the drugs line was launched last year and police used phone data to identify Miah as its owner.
They linked him to more than three kilograms of Class A drugs and obtained a warrant at his home.
On December 14, 2023 police entered Miah's home and found more than £20,000 of crack cocaine and heroin, burner phones and designer watches.
Police believed he had been buying the watches to launder cash from his drug dealing.
Miah, who has previous drug offence convictions, had presented himself as a successful businessman involved in luxury car rentals.
