A fire in a residential area in Tower Hamlets has destroyed a garden shed while damaging a neighbour’s property this afternoon.
London Fire Brigade’s 999 Control officers received around 20 calls about the blaze in Patrick Connolly Gardens in Bromley-by-Bow at around 3.29pm today (April 23).
Crews from Millwall, Stratford, Poplar and Shadwell fire stations attended the scene.

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled the fire for more than an hour, bringing it under control by 5.03pm.
A garden shed was destroyed, and the window of a nearby house was damaged in the incident along with part of the guttering.
There were no reports of any injuries. The cause of the fire is yet unknown and is under investigation.
