A person is in a major trauma centre after a crash between a bus and car on the Isle of Dogs.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called with reports of a crash along Westferry Road at 10.50am today (April 12).
They were dispatched to the scene where a bus and car were found with damage.
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were called at 11.18am after a person involved complained of chest pains following the crash.

They were administered treatment at the scene but have since been taken to a major trauma centre.

The incident is believed to have happened a short distance away from Harbinger School by the Masthouse Terrace bus stop.
