A person is in a major trauma centre following a violent incident in Canary Wharf.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service has confirmed they were dispatched to Byng Street in response to reports of violence.
The call came in at 1.41am today (April 11), with an incident response officer and tactical response unit supporting ambulance crews.
The tactical response unit is part of a specialist group of paramedics who receive further training and equipment to help them respond to serious incidents.

A person was found injured at the scene before being taken to a major trauma centre.
The nature of the incident remains unclear at this time.
We have approached the Metropolitan Police for a comment.
