A person had to be taken to hospital after reports of a “casualty on the tracks” at a Central line station.
British Transport Police (BTP) officers were called to Bethnal Green station at 8.30am on Sunday (February 25).
Paramedics also attended and a person was taken to a nearby hospital to be checked over.
The incident forced TfL to suspend the line between Liverpool Street and Leytonstone, although it quickly reopened.
Residual delays were reported along to entire length of the line throughout Sunday morning.
A BTP spokesperson said that the incident is “not being treated as suspicious”.
