An historic pub on the Isle of Dogs has reopened after a refurbishment.
Pictures of The Lord Nelson have been shared with The Advertiser after the pub started welcoming customers again last week.
The pub was taken over by Star Pubs & Bars earlier this year who announced the pub would be closing on January 7 to allow for the £220,000 works to be undertaken.
Cara Venn, operator of The Lord Nelson, said: "We had a really busy weekend when we opened. The pub was packed out.
"Customers love the new look, which is bright, open yet warm and welcoming."
The revamped pub features a new pool table, TV screen, and darts board, and has been kitted out with plenty of seats and tables for visitors.

The pub was built in 1855 and the floors have been preserved as a nod to its historic character.
The Lord Nelson are holding an opening celebration on February 24 to mark the completion of the works.
Cara said: "It should be a great celebration of the pub’s reopening.”
