A person has died after being hit by a train.
Both the Central and Hammersmith & City lines were disrupted yesterday (February 13) after emergency services rushed to Mile End station last night at 9.35pm.
Ambulances were called to reports of a person hit by a train and they were pronounced dead at the scene.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We sent numerous resources, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and members of our hazardous area response team (HART). We also dispatched London’s air ambulance."
According to some posts online, there were over 15 emergency vehicles responding to the incident.
