Rail passengers in east London will face significant disruption this weekend with the Elizabeth line set to partially close.
The line will be shut both days this weekend (January 20 and January 21) between Paddington and Abbey Wood.
This will affect Elizabeth line stations in both Tower Hamlets and Newham.
Elsewhere, the Metropolitan line and Piccadilly line in Harrow will be also be shut both days this weekend due to planned engineering works.
TfL has urged passengers to check their journey before travelling. Here is a full list of closures in north and east London this weekend.
Elizabeth line
January 20 – January 21
No service between Abbey Wood and Paddington.
Trains will operate between Shenfield and Liverpool Street National Rail station, not serving Whitechapel, and between Paddington and Heathrow Terminal 4 / Heathrow Terminal 5 / Reading.
Please use London Underground services to cross Central London.
Piccadilly line
January 20 – January 21
No service between South Harrow and Uxbridge.
Replacement bus service ML1 operates between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Uxbridge via West Harrow (Treve Avenue), South Harrow, Rayners Lane, Eastcote, Ruislip Manor, Ruislip, Ickenham and Hillingdon.
Metropolitan line
January 20 – January 21
No service between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Uxbridge.
Replacement bus service ML1 operates between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Uxbridge via West Harrow (Treve Avenue), South Harrow, Rayners Lane, Eastcote, Ruislip Manor, Ruislip, Ickenham and Hillingdon.
