A man fell from height at a residential address in Bethnal Green after police arrived to make an arrest.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called to an address in Canrobert Street on January 6.
They turned up at the address as part of an arrest enquiry.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: "Officers were allowed entry into the address and a short time later a man was seen to fall from height.
"The man, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital, where his injuries have been assessed as not life threatening."
The London Ambulance Service had their first responder on scene in four minutes, with London's Air Ambulance dispatched by car.

It comes as concerned locals took to Facebook to claim police had closed the road.
One anonymous user said: "Anyone know what’s happened on Canrobert St? 5-10 police cars / ambulances this evening with the scene taped off ?".
The Met's Directorate of Professional Standards has been informed.
