A girl is in a critical condition after falling from height in Tower Hamlets.
Police and paramedics from London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance were all dispatched to the scene.
The first responders arrived within two minutes.
A spokesperson for the Met said: "Officers were called 5pm on Tuesday, 11 December to The Quarterdeck, Tower Hamlets, E14, to reports that a 14-year-old girl had fallen from height.
" [...] The girl was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and she remains in hospital in a critical condition.
"Her family have been informed and are being supported."
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A spokesperson for LAS said: "We were called yesterday (11 December) at 4.57pm to reports of an incident at The Quarterdeck, E14.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an incident response officer and an advanced paramedic in a car. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“Our first medic arrived in approximately two minutes.
“We treated a child at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
