A woman has been left fighting for her life after an alleged hit and run crash.
Met Police were called out to the scene of the crash on November 23 that involved a car and pedestrian.
A woman in her 30s was found injured at the junction of Burdett Road and Portia Way, Mile End.
The driver of the vehicle allegedly failed to stop at the scene.
A spokesperson for Met Police said: "Police were called at 13:14hrs on Thursday, 23 November to a report of a collision between a car and pedestrian on Burdett Road at the junction with Portia Way, E3.
"Officers attended and found a woman, in her 30s, with injuries.
"She was taken to hospital where she remains in a life threatening condition. Her next of kin are aware."
Police said the driver, a man, later presented at a police station and was arrested.
