Police have named a man who's body was pulled from a canal.
Ali Liaquat, 55, of Tower Hamlets died and his body was recovered from Regent's Canal last week by police.
Metropolitan Police were called at 7.11am on October 11 to reports of a body in the water in Regent's Canal near Rhodeswell Road in Limehouse.
The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time, police said, but officers are working to establish why Ali was in the water.

Ali's next of kin have been informed and a post-mortem showed no signs of injuries that may have resulted in his death.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen Ali before his death - especially around Turners Road and Rhodeswell Road - to make contact.
