Police are investigating a fire which destroyed a home in a block of flats near Canary Wharf.
Firefighters received 55 calls after smoke and flames could be seen billowing from the building in St Lukes Mews, Isle of Dogs, at around 7pm on Wednesday evening (September 27).
Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters tackled the blaze which destroyed a four-roomed flat on the third-floor of the block.
Part of a flat on the fourth floor was also damaged by the fire.
The London Fire Brigade (LFB) has said that around 25 people fled the block before it arrived at the scene but that no injuries were reported.
Footage of the fire posted to X, formerly Twitter, showed smoke and flames billowing into the sky.

A LFB spokesperson has now confirmed that police have opened an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
The blaze took crews from Shadwell, Whitechapel, Bethnal Green, Dowgate and Dockhead fire stations just over an hour to extinguish. The incident was over for firefighters at around 8.10pm.
Speaking on Wednesday, Station Commander Andy McKay said: "Firefighters worked quickly to bring the fire under control.
"West Ferry Road remains closed between Byng Street and Marsh Wall whilst crews make the scene safe. This is causing heavy traffic, so we're urging people to avoid the local area.
"Our Control Officers gave vital fire survival guidance to those inside the building on how to stay safe whilst firefighters brought the fire under control. There are currently no reports of any injuries."
