A man has died in a Tower Hamlets crash which happened during a police pursuit.
The Met Police said a 30-year-old man died in Commercial Road at 2.20am this morning (March 20) after a motorcycle collided with railings.
There were two riders on the motorcycle, which police said had failed to stop for officers.

A spokesperson confirmed that officers were pursuing the motorbike at the time of the crash.
A 29-year-old man was taken to hospital and his condition is not life-threatening.
The Met spokesperson said: "The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards has made a referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
"They have advised that they will be conducting an independent investigation."
Police have not yet confirmed whether the dead man's family have been informed.
Commercial Road is closed in both directions between Salmon Lane and [A1261] West India Dock Road due to a "police incident", according to Transport for London.
It has advised motorists to use other routes.
