A balcony was destroyed and inside rooms damaged in a fire in a block of flats.
A total of 25 firefighters and four engines were rushed to the blaze in Rainhill Way, Bow, at 3.17pm today (October 26).
A balcony was destroyed and a small part of a four-roomed flat on the ninth floor of the block was damaged in the fire.
The blaze was under control by 4.16pm as crews from Bethnal Green, Shadwell, Poplar and Millwall worked.
The London Fire Brigade says that a man, woman and a child were treated at the scene by the London Ambulance Service.
Rainhill Way is blocked between Devons Road and Trevithick Way, with the 108 bus route being diverted.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
