EDGAR IVAN "EDDIE" GRAHAM 5 Aug 1922 - 1 Aug 2010 Edgar Ivan Graham " Eddie" born 5th August 1922 in Crown Street, Canning Town. Died in West Middlesex University Hospital on Sunday 1st August 2010. Well known in Canning Town and Custom House for his boxing career as a young man, Eddie went on to serve in the Merchant Navy for many years. When he settled back from his life at sea he married, had a family and worked locally in the Royal Docks, Loders and Anchors House. He was loved and respected, a true gentleman who had a rare quality, integrity. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Funeral will be held at East London Cemetery on Thursday 26th August at 3pm.
