ANTONY JOHN ROOT 18.2.1930 - 24.1.2013 A huge handsome man, dad to 5, grandad and pop to 7, great grandfather to 9, father to 86 foster children. Sir to 100s of air cadets for 40 years. Tony beloved husband to Kathleen (ex Headteacher Old Ford School). Married for 60 years, Diamond Anniversary 17.1.2013. Motor Neurone Disease so cruelly debilitating until immobile and speechless. Rest in peace and quiet my darling. No-one could ever forget YOU. Reunited with son Joe, grandson Nicky, brother Griff and all the family. All welcome to wave Tony goodbye on his final flight as he slips the surly bonds of earth.
